I really thought that the book would get 3 or even 4 stars, until the last 70 pages or so, and then I wanted to kill the heroine.

She spent 8 years "preparing" to be his wife, and then after they hit a rough patch, she decided to leave him, even though she is in love with him. I mean you literally sacrificed a good part of your life for him, studying to be a queen one day, and then after two weeks you just... Taking deep calming breaths...

He is better, even with the I will ignore her until she goes away part, and there might be an explanation for his behaviour.

Just when I forget why I read Harlequin books rarely, I stumble across some spectacularly TSTL heroine. I had to force myself to read the last 20 pages.

All in all 3 stars for the first part of the book - 1 star for the ending = 2 stars.
